SERMON NOTES 12.29.2019
TRANSFORMATION: IS THE PRICE WORTH THE PAIN?
John 3:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
The Bible defines transformation as “change or renewal from a life that no longer conforms to the ways of this world to one that pleases God.
Romans 12:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.\
- What’s the sum total that my transformation is going to cost me?
- What will I have to give up in order to be what God has inspired me to become?
The change and transformation we’re enduring is a test of time.
- Are you willing to stay in the midst of the pain?
- Are you willing to sacrifice the time it takes to do your best?
- Will you sacrifice what is good in your life in order to achieve the greatness latent within you?
You can only fake your desire for transformation for so long!
